Dr Elif Medical Facials

Dr Elif Medical Facials

Dr Elif Medical Facials are dermatologist-designed treatment facials for specific skin concerns – acne, pigmentation, loss of collagen and sensitised skin – carried out by our trained skin therapists at Dr Elif Clinic, 54 Harley Street, London. Each facial follows a set clinical protocol that combines professional steps such as peels, extractions, Dermapen microneedling, Q-switched Nd:YAG laser and LED light, so every session is built around a result rather than simply pampering. A session takes 45–60 minutes, courses are spaced every 3–4 weeks, and any redness usually settles within 24 hours.

Dr Elif Acne Clarity

A dermatologist-designed treatment for acne-prone, congested and blemish-prone skin. It combines careful cleansing and exfoliation with two acne-targeted light treatments – a Q-switched laser and blue LED – in one session.

What happens during Acne Clarity

  1. Deep cleanse
  2. Controlled exfoliation or a peel chosen for your skin
  3. Extractions, when appropriate
  4. Q-switched laser and blue LED light targeted at acne
  5. Barrier-supporting finish and SPF

Available as a single session or a course of 3 or 6, spaced 3–4 weeks apart. If acne has already left marks or scarring, see our acne scar treatment.

Dr Elif Pigment Reset

A dermatologist-designed protocol for uneven tone, sun damage and pigmentation. In short: peel + targeted laser + brightening booster + LED. The laser is a Q-switched Nd:YAG, used to target pigment.

What happens during Pigment Reset

  1. Cleanse
  2. Targeted peel or exfoliation
  3. Q-switched Nd:YAG laser for pigmentation
  4. Brightening booster
  5. LED and a soothing finish
  6. SPF

Available as a single session or a course of 3 or 6, spaced 3–4 weeks apart. Melasma behaves differently from sun spots, so if you have melasma the right plan is agreed at consultation – see our melasma and hyperpigmentation treatment page.

Dr Elif Collagen Reset

Medical microneedling with Dermapen combined with a targeted skin booster. Dermapen creates tiny, controlled micro-channels in the skin, and the booster is applied as part of the same session.

Available as a single session or a course of 3 or 6, spaced 3–4 weeks apart. For deeper skin-quality work with injectable boosters, see polynucleotides.

Dr Elif Collagen Reset + Exosomes

Our premium version of Collagen Reset. The Dermapen microneedling step is followed by an exosome-based topical protocol and finished with calming LED aftercare.

  1. Dermapen medical microneedling
  2. Exosome-based topical protocol
  3. Calming LED aftercare

Available as a single session or a course of 3 or 6, spaced 3–4 weeks apart.

Dr Elif Barrier Reset

A calming, dermatologist-designed facial for compromised, reactive or sensitised skin. The session is tailored on the day to how your skin is behaving, with the focus on calming and supporting the skin barrier rather than on strong exfoliation.

Available as a single session or a course of 3, spaced 3–4 weeks apart.

Dr Elif Red Carpet Laser

Dr Elif Red Carpet Laser is our name for the Hollywood Laser (carbon laser peel): a carbon lotion is applied to the skin and then treated with laser. It is popular for oily skin, enlarged pores and a glow before an event. Read more about Red Carpet Laser →

How our medical facials work

  • Designed by dermatologists, carried out by trained skin therapists. Every facial follows a fixed clinical protocol.
  • 45–60 minutes per session.
  • Single session or a course. Courses of 3 or 6 sessions (Barrier Reset: 3), spaced 3–4 weeks apart.
  • Minimal downtime. Your skin may be red for up to 24 hours.
  • Not suitable during pregnancy or if you have an active skin infection.

Medical facials or HydraFacial?

A HydraFacial is our go-to for cleansing, hydration and an instant glow. The medical facials go further for a specific concern – acne, pigmentation, collagen or sensitivity – by adding steps such as Q-switched laser, Dermapen microneedling, exosomes and targeted boosters. If you want laser and HydraFacial together, Dr Elif LaserGlow combines both.
