What can lower-face anti-wrinkle injections treat?
Dimpled or “pebble” chin (mentalis muscle)
The mentalis muscle in the chin can create an “orange peel” or pebble texture when it contracts. Relaxing it smooths the appearance of the chin.
Marionette lines and downturned mouth corners
Relaxing the muscles around the mouth can reduce the appearance of marionette lines – the lines running down from the corners of the mouth – and lift downturned corners. Where the lines come from volume loss, your doctor may also suggest a filler.
Square jaw and clenching (masseter muscles)
The masseter muscles move the jaw and can contribute to a square-shaped jaw. Relaxing them can reduce jaw clenching and slim the lower face – see masseter injections.
Neck bands (platysma) – Nefertiti lift

Upper lip – lip flip
The same approach can be used on the upper lip to create a lip flip: relaxing the muscle lets the upper lip roll slightly upwards for a fuller look.
Results and how long they last
