2 Point Jawline Filler™ – Jawline Filler London

2 Point Jawline Filler™ – Jawline Filler London

2 Point Jawline Filler™ is Dr Elif Benar’s own jawline filler technique: dermal filler placed through a blunt cannula from just two entry points – one on each side – to define, slim and tighten the jawline with minimal discomfort, minimal bruising and no downtime. Dr Elif developed the technique 15 years ago, has performed more than 10,000 jawline filler treatments with it and now trains other doctors in jawline filler. It is a registered trade mark, available only at Dr Elif Clinic, 54 Harley Street, London, and gives a sharper, more harmonious lower face – and can improve the look of a double chin – in a single session, with results that last 9 to 18 months.

What is the 2 Point Jawline Technique?

Conventional jawline filler is injected with a needle at many points along the jaw. Dr Elif is the founder of the 2-point jawline technique, in which the whole jawline is shaped from a single opening on each side rather than a row of needle punctures. A flexible, blunt-tipped cannula enters at those two points and glides along the mandibular border, so the filler can be laid down evenly from the angle of the jaw towards the chin without piercing the skin again and again. Because a blunt cannula pushes vessels and nerves aside instead of cutting through them, the risk of side effects – bruising, swelling and, most importantly, injecting into a blood vessel – is much lower than with multiple needle passes.

Dr Elif developed the technique 15 years ago and has refined it over more than 10,000 jawline treatments. It has been featured in the press (see below), is one of the seven Dr Elif Signature Treatments™, and is the technique Dr Elif now teaches to other doctors who want to offer jawline filler safely.

Why two points and a cannula?

  • Minimal pain – two entry points instead of many needle passes.
  • Minimal bruising – a blunt cannula pushes vessels aside rather than piercing them.
  • No downtime – you can go straight back to your day.
  • Lower risk – fewer entry points and a blunt tip reduce the risk associated with needle injections along the jaw, where the facial artery and vein run.
  • Comfortable – most patients describe pressure rather than pain.
  • Quick – the whole jawline is contoured in one short session.
  • Even result – filler laid along the border in a continuous line, rather than in separate deposits, gives a smoother contour.

How Dr Elif plans a jawline: five zones, not one line

A defined jawline is not made by putting filler along the edge of the jaw alone. At your consultation Dr Elif assesses the whole lower face from the front, in profile and at three-quarter view, and plans the treatment across five zones that work together:

  1. Chin projection – how far the chin sits forward in profile. A short or recessed chin makes any jawline look weak, so the chin is often the first thing to correct (see chin filler).
  2. Prejowl sulcus – the small hollow just in front of the jowl. Filling it restores a straight line from chin to jaw and hides early jowling.
  3. Mandibular border – the edge of the jawbone itself, where the 2 Point cannula lays the filler in one continuous line.
  4. Mandibular angle – the corner of the jaw below the ear. Sharpening it gives the squarer, stronger outline that many men, and some women, ask for.
  5. Jowl and the jaw–neck transition – whether jowls, under-chin fullness or loose skin blur the line between face and neck. Here Dr Elif decides whether filler alone is enough or whether it should be combined with fat dissolving injections, masseter injections or skin tightening.

Which zones are treated, and how much product goes into each, depends on your bone structure, the volume of your masseter (chewing) muscles, your chin projection, your age and whether you want a softer or a stronger outline. Two patients with “the same” 4 ml can have completely different plans.

Male and female jawlines, bone structure and age

Dr Elif does not give every patient the same sharp “Instagram jawline”. A male jawline is usually planned wider and squarer, with more emphasis on the mandibular angle and a stronger chin; a female jawline is planned as a slimmer, more lifted line with a softer angle, so the face reads as feminine rather than heavy. Patients with a naturally strong bone structure often need very little product and mostly benefit from correcting the prejowl sulcus; patients with a soft, recessed jaw and chin need more support along the border and at the chin.

Masseter volume matters too: if the lower face is wide because the masseter muscles are bulky, adding filler along the jaw can make the face look wider still. In those patients Dr Elif reduces the masseter and slims the lower face first, then defines the border – the approach behind our Dr Elif Face Slim™ programme. With age, bone support around the chin and jaw reduces, skin loosens and jowls form; the plan for a patient in their fifties therefore looks very different from a plan for someone in their twenties who simply wants more definition.

Why does the jawline lose definition?

A jawline may not be prominent for several reasons: weight gain and fullness along the jaw, genetic factors such as a naturally soft or recessed jaw and chin, and ageing, when bone support reduces, skin loosens and jowls begin to blur the line between face and neck. Jawline fillers restore that line. They provide facial harmony, help slim and tighten the look of the face, and – by contouring the jawline and chin – can also improve the appearance of a double chin.

How many ml do I need for jawline filler?

The amount varies according to the chin and jawline structure of the patient. Jawline contouring generally requires 2–6 ml for women and 3–8 ml for men. Patients considering jawline filler should know that at least 2 ml is needed for a visible, balanced result – a single syringe rarely defines a whole jawline. Dr Elif will tell you at consultation how much your jaw needs and whether the chin should be included so that the profile is balanced from the front and the side.

How long do jawline fillers last?

Jawline fillers last 9–18 months. The persistence of the filler is prolonged in people who have the procedure regularly, because each session builds on the support left by the previous one, so maintenance sessions are usually smaller and further apart.

Safety and complication management

The jawline is crossed by the facial artery and vein, so the most serious – though rare – complication of any jawline filler is filler entering a blood vessel (vascular occlusion). This is why the technique and the injector matter more here than in almost any other area. At Dr Elif Clinic:

  • Doctor-only treatment – every jawline filler is performed by Dr Elif, a dermatologist with 15 years of injectable experience and detailed knowledge of facial anatomy.
  • Blunt cannula, two entry points – the 2 Point technique avoids repeated needle passes over the vessels along the jaw, which is the main reason it lowers the risk of bruising and vascular injury.
  • Hyaluronidase in clinic – the enzyme that dissolves hyaluronic acid filler is always stocked, so filler can be reversed immediately if ever needed (see filler dissolving).
  • Written vascular-occlusion protocol – the clinic follows a written emergency protocol for suspected vascular occlusion, and Dr Elif is trained to recognise and treat it.
  • Review appointment – you are seen again after treatment to check the result and settle any asymmetry or swelling.
  • Direct line after treatment – patients can reach the clinic directly on WhatsApp or by phone if they have any concern after their jawline filler.

Who is 2 Point Jawline Filler™ suitable for?

It suits adults who want a more defined, sculpted jawline – a soft or receding jaw and chin, an undefined transition between face and neck, early jowls, or a lower face that has lost its edge with age. Men often choose it for a stronger, squarer jaw; women for a slimmer, more lifted outline. Where fullness under the chin is the main issue, Dr Elif may recommend combining jawline filler with fat dissolving injections or chin filler; where the lower face is wide rather than undefined, with Dr Elif Face Slim™. Where the main problem is loose skin rather than lost volume, a skin-tightening treatment such as Endolift may be recommended instead. Suitability is confirmed at consultation.

How to choose a jawline filler doctor in London

Jawline filler is one of the most technique-dependent filler treatments, so it is worth asking any clinic these questions before you book – and here is how Dr Elif Clinic answers them:

  • How many jawlines has the injector treated, and how central is jawline work to their practice? Dr Elif has performed more than 10,000 jawline filler treatments over 15 years and developed her own jawline technique.
  • Can you see consistent before-and-after results in profile on different faces? Ten profile cases are shown above, with many more on Instagram.
  • Does the doctor plan the chin, prejowl sulcus, border, angle and jowl together, or just inject the edge of the jaw? Dr Elif plans all five zones and assesses from the front, profile and three-quarter view.
  • How long has the injector been doing aesthetic injections, and do they teach? 15 years; Dr Elif trains other doctors in jawline filler.
  • Will the plan be adapted to your sex, bone structure, masseter volume and age? Yes – there is no standard jawline at Dr Elif Clinic.
  • Is there independent evidence – press, professional memberships, a public track record? Press coverage is linked above; memberships are listed in the profile; results are published continuously on Instagram.
  • What do patients who had jawline filler say? See the Google reviews and the reviews page.
  • Is the treatment doctor-performed, is hyaluronidase on site, and is there a vascular-occlusion protocol and follow-up? Yes to all four – see Safety above.

Jawline filler FAQs

What is the 2 Point Jawline Technique?

Dr Elif Benar’s jawline filler technique in which filler is placed with a blunt cannula from only two entry points, one on each side, giving a defined jawline with minimal pain, minimal bruising, a lower risk of vascular injury and no downtime. Dr Elif developed it 15 years ago and it is a registered trade mark.

How many jawline filler treatments has Dr Elif performed?

More than 10,000 over 15 years. Jawline contouring is a central part of her practice and she trains other doctors in jawline filler.

How many ml of filler does a jawline need?

Generally 2–6 ml for women and 3–8 ml for men, depending on the chin and jawline structure; at least 2 ml is needed for a visible result.

How long do jawline fillers last?

9 to 18 months. The result lasts longer in people who have the procedure regularly.

Does jawline filler hurt or bruise?

With the 2 Point cannula technique there are only two entry points, so pain and bruising are minimal and there is no downtime.

Who performs jawline filler at Dr Elif Clinic?

Dr Elif Benar herself – a dermatologist with 15 years of injectable experience. The treatment is not delegated.

Is hyaluronidase available if the filler needs to be dissolved?

Yes. Hyaluronidase is always stocked in the clinic, and the clinic follows a written vascular-occlusion protocol, so hyaluronic acid filler can be reversed immediately if ever needed.

Is jawline filler different for men and women?

Yes. A male jawline is planned wider and squarer with a stronger angle and chin; a female jawline as a slimmer, more lifted line with a softer angle. Bone structure, masseter volume and age change the plan further.

Do I need chin filler as well as jawline filler?

Often, yes. A recessed chin makes any jawline look weak, so Dr Elif assesses chin projection first and may include the chin in the plan so the profile is balanced.

Can jawline filler help a double chin?

Yes – contouring the jawline and chin can improve the appearance of a double chin, and it can be combined with fat dissolving injections where needed.

Is the result immediate?

Yes. The new contour is visible as soon as the filler is placed; any mild swelling settles over the following days, and you are seen for a review appointment afterwards.

How much does jawline filler cost in London?

It depends on the amount of filler your jaw needs. Current prices are on our price list and the plan is confirmed at consultation.
