Endolift® is a minimally invasive laser treatment that tightens loose skin and reduces small pockets of fat on the face, neck and body using a hair-thin optical fibre placed just under the skin. It is done in a single session under local anaesthetic, takes around 30–60 minutes, needs no cuts or stitches, and results build over 4–9 months and last 2–3 years. At Dr Elif Clinic on Harley Street, London, Endolift is performed by Dr Hasan Benar, a consultant dermatologist who has carried out over 1,500 Endolift procedures and published the largest clinical study on the treatment, usually as Endoskin® – Endolift combined with a skin-booster injection for better, safer results.
What is Endolift?
Endolift® is a laser skin-tightening treatment developed in Italy. A micro-optical fibre, thinner than a hair, is introduced under the skin through a tiny entry point (no incision) and delivers laser energy directly to the deeper layers of the skin. The heat does two things at once: it contracts the existing collagen fibres for an immediate tightening effect, and it stimulates the skin to build new collagen over the following months. Where there is unwanted fat – under the chin, along the jawline, on the knees or arms – the same energy gently reduces it.
Because nothing is cut and no implants or threads are left behind, Endolift sits between non-invasive energy devices (such as HIFU or radiofrequency) and a surgical facelift. It gives a noticeably stronger lift than surface treatments, with far less downtime and risk than surgery.
What is Endoskin®, and why do we prefer it to Endolift alone?
Endoskin® is a combination of the Endolift laser treatment and a skin-booster injection (polynucleotides or PLLA) performed in the same session. Dr Hasan Benar is the founder of Endoskin® and the only doctor in the world who performs it. He published the largest research study on this treatment in the medical literature – A new non-surgical combination approach for skin tightening and remodelling: Endoskin – a comparative study (PubMed) – and has performed over 1,500 procedures.
The two treatments work in different ways. The Endolift laser tightens and boosts collagen from the deeper layers; the injectable skin booster also stimulates collagen, strengthens the skin and shortens recovery. In the comparative study, Endoskin delivered significantly better results than Endolift alone. Dr Benar has also pioneered a patented 3-point method that means patients experience no important side effects.
- Better skin tightening than Endolift on its own
- Lower risk of side effects
- Extra skin-quality benefits (texture, hydration, fine lines)
- Two treatments in one session
- Performed by a consultant dermatologist with over 15 years of experience

Face slimming with Endoskin®

What does Endolift treat?
- Lower-face laxity – jowls, a softening jawline and sagging neck
- Double chin and excess fat under the chin and along the jaw
- Mid-face and cheek sagging, nasolabial heaviness
- Eye area – hooded upper lids and under-eye laxity (see Dr Elif laser eye lift)
- Scars, lines and wrinkles – remodelling of both deep and superficial skin layers, including acne scars
- Body skin tightening – knees, inner thighs, upper arms (bingo wings), post-pregnancy abdomen
- Body contouring – small fat deposits on the abdomen, back of the arms, calves and glutes
Who is Endolift suitable for?
Endolift works best for people with mild to moderate skin laxity and/or small localised fat pockets who want a visible lift without surgery. It suits people who are starting to notice jowls, a less defined jawline or a heavier neck, and is also popular with younger patients for face slimming and jawline definition.
It is not the right treatment for severe skin excess, where a surgical facelift or neck lift remains the more effective option, and we will tell you so at consultation. Every patient is assessed by a dermatologist first.
What happens during Endolift treatment?
- Consultation and mapping. Your dermatologist assesses the skin and marks the treatment vectors on the face or body.
- Local anaesthetic. Small amounts of anaesthetic are injected at the entry points; no general anaesthetic or sedation is needed.
- Laser. The micro-optical fibre is guided under the skin along each vector and the laser is delivered. Most patients describe warmth and pressure rather than pain.
- Skin booster (Endoskin®). The polynucleotide or PLLA booster is injected in the same session.
- Home the same day. The whole visit takes 30–60 minutes depending on the area.
When do I see results, and how long does Endolift last?
There is a small immediate tightening on the day. The real result comes from new collagen: our patients typically begin to see a noticeable change within 4 months, with continued improvement at the 6-month and 9-month marks. The best time to judge the outcome is around 6 months.
The skin tightening lasts 2–3 years. The fat reduction is permanent, because the treated fat cells do not come back (although significant weight gain can enlarge the remaining ones). One session is normally enough; if the result is incomplete it can be safely repeated within the first 12 months, and many patients choose a maintenance session after 2–3 years.
Downtime, side effects and aftercare
Endolift needs no incisions and no stitches, so there is no scar. Expect mild redness or swelling, which subsides within a few days. Most patients return to work the same or next day, and your dermatologist gives you simple aftercare instructions at the visit. With Dr Benar’s 3-point method our patients have not experienced any important side effects.
Endolift vs HIFU vs Morpheus8 vs surgical facelift
| Endolift / Endoskin® | HIFU | Morpheus8 | Surgical facelift | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| How it works | Laser fibre under the skin | Focused ultrasound from the surface | Radiofrequency microneedling from the surface | Skin and SMAS lifted surgically |
| Invasiveness | Minimally invasive, no incisions | Non-invasive | Minimally invasive (needles) | Surgery under anaesthetic |
| Fat reduction | Yes | Limited | Limited | Yes (with liposuction) |
| Best for | Mild–moderate laxity + fat, jawline, neck, body | Mild laxity, prevention | Skin texture, scars, mild laxity | Severe laxity |
For patients who want the strongest non-surgical option we often combine Endolift with XERF or Morpheus8 for the surface layers – your dermatologist will advise what is right for you.
2 Point Jawline Filler™ and Endolift combination
Dr Elif and Dr Hasan are the founders of the 2-point jawline technique™, performed with a cannula. For a sharply defined jawline we tighten the skin with Endolift and then place the 2-point jawline filler – the combination gives structure and lift that neither treatment achieves alone.

How much does Endolift cost in London?
The price depends on the area treated (lower face, full face and neck, eyes, or a body area) and whether the Endoskin® booster is included. Current prices for every option are on our price list, and a consultation with the dermatologist confirms the exact plan before anything is booked.

Endoskin® is Endolift plus a skin-booster injection (polynucleotides or PLLA) in the same session. In Dr Hasan Benar’s published comparative study, Endoskin gave significantly better tightening than Endolift alone with a lower risk of side effects. Endoskin is only performed by Dr Benar at Dr Elif Clinic.
For visible lifting and fat reduction, yes: Endolift delivers energy directly under the skin, so the tightening is stronger and longer-lasting. HIFU remains a good non-invasive option for very mild laxity or maintenance.
