Skin Tags

Skin tags, medically known as acrochordons, are small, benign growths that appear on the skin’s surface. They are commonly found in areas where the skin folds or rubs against itself, such as the neck, underarms, eyelids, groin, and beneath the breasts. Skin tags are typically flesh-colored or slightly darker and are usually painless. They often have a narrow stalk that connects them to the skin’s surface.

The best treatment option

Excision:

Dermatologists can cut off skin tags using surgical scissors or a scalpel. This is a simple procedure that can be done under local anesthesia.
